About Us

We're an unlikely pair: a Zen master disguised as a history teacher and a miracle worker disguised as a social worker, combining our passions for life, education, and service to create a safe haven for the seeds of our tomorrow to grow.

Grace is in honor of my mother who instilled in all ten of her children the credo for success (Giving Rise to Achievement, Character, and Empowerment), offered to you through real-talk therapy.

By practicing yoga, Kenneth is able to bring the mind and body in balance. To yoke or unify, yoga is a method we use to empower youth to retake control over their bodies and experiences.

Together we bring you Grace in Balance in handling all challenges that may come your way.

Let us help you, help YOU

- Felicidad (aka Miss Christmas)

At GRACE our compassion, honesty, commitment, and respect serve as guiding principles for our actions and conduct. They influence how we interact with one another and with everyone we come into contact with, regardless of their past or present.

Mission

To give truly safe, culturally competent, holistic, and wellness-focused support to school-aged children so that they can learn that it's ok not to be ok and how to overcome challenges.

Vision

GRACE's mission is to provide support, education, and services to school-aged children and young adults whose mental health challenges are affecting their academic and personal success. At-risk youth receive culturally competent, real-talk therapy coupled with trauma-informed and mindfulness-based yoga classes in order to promote healing, resilience, self-development, and positive social change. Yoga for trauma focuses on gentle and safe movement, with practices that include controlled breathing and mindful activity.
